Graffiti Prevention

Description

A one-pack external coating designed to give effective protection against both graffiti and fly-poster attack. Astro Anti Graffiti Paint is permanent, not sacrificial system, allowing for repeated easy removal of any graffiti.

Available in matt or gloss finish and has been specifically designed to minimise any alteration to the appearance of the protected surface.

We supply a Non-Darkening Sealer for use where avoiding a surface colour change is essential.

This anti graffiti coating is suitable for a wide variety of surfaces. The matt version is particularly effective on the normally difficult to protect substrates such as rough brick or textured finishes.

The system can be used on concrete, render, masonry, porous stone, timber and previously painted surfaces, it should not however be used over Pliolite based products.

• Appearance Semi-transparent/Clear Liquid
• Solvent White Spirit
• Viscosity 2.5 to 3 Poise
• Solids 34 to 36 % by Weight
• Specific Gravity 0.85 to 0.88
• Shelf Life 12 months in unopened container
• UV Resistance Excellent

Other Data :

• Two coats required on all surfaces.
Spread rate 7-10 m² per litre, depending on porosity of substrate.
• Drying time 1 to 2 hours, depending on conditions
• Re-Coat interval 4 hours
• Application Temp' Minimum 4 ºC
• Working Time Approx 30 to 90 mins.

Due to moisture curing nature of product do not leave in opened containers.
Take care to clean equipment immediately after use with White Spirit.

Installation

Stir contents thoroughly before application.

Apply by brush roller or spray. If spraying take care not to contaminate surrounding property. Thin with up to 10% white spirit if needed.

Apply a minimum of two coats at the suggested spread rate to achieve optimum results.
