| Description Astro Finger Protecta is a high quality, resilient blind that prevents fingers entering the cavity formed between the edge of the door and door frame. The blind is mounted in a robust aluminium housing unlike a concertina style blind, which is constantly exposed and can suffer damage as a result. Independently tested to over 1 million opening & closing cycles. The robust housing protects the blind when not in use. This hinge guard has concealed screw fixings and comes complete with end caps for that even neater finish. Doors are potentially dangerous and, according to RoSPA, there are tens of thousands of finger trapping injuries every year. Recent legislation, BS7036 Part 4: item 7.1, recommends "the use of a finger protecta that either fills the finger trap or minimises the gap so as not to create a finger trap". Protect users of your premises from painful injury and yourself from
