Description
Astro Flexi-Batt is designed to prevent the passage of fire and smoke around penetrating services with high movement.
Astro Flexi-Batt has a 1000mm x 600mm x 50mm low density stone fibre core coated with Astro Fexi Coat Sealant on both sides
At normal temperatures Flexi Batt will remain flexible to permit thermal and mechanical movement of services of up to 50%.
Both products are unaffected by oil, fungus, moisture, vermin, weather and contain no halogens or asbestos.
Astro Flexi-Batt gives upto to 2 hours fire & smoke protection and remains flexible between -5cC to + 70°C and is ideal for slab edge detail or service penetrations

NOTE: ASTRO FLEXI COAT spread grade coating should be used with ASTRO FLEXI BATT on cut edges or joints it is also ideal for slab edge protection (see below for order details).
Astro Flexi Coat sealant is a water based acrylic coating, having excellent fire and elastrometric properties offering up to 50% movement. Ideal for spray, trowel and pouring applications. At normal temperatures the coating remains highly flexible to permit thermal and mechanical movement of services and the building structure. Provides up to 2 hours fire resistance and acts as a smoke and acoustic barrier. For use on cut edges of Astro Flexi Batt and ideal for slab edge applications. Tested to EN1366-4.

We recommend that dust masks, gloves and eye protection be worn when cutting the boards as the dust produced is an irritant. Do not ingest Flexi Coating - Avoid contact with eyes.Keep out of reach of children.
Does not emit halogen or other toxic gases when exposed to flame.
Normal good industrial and personal hygiene practices should be observed.
