Description The Astroflame telescopic letter box system range is specially designed to increase the safety and security of occupants against fire .
Cut out required on this size is 241mm x 57mm. Our larger commercial size of 306mm x 70mm comes as a 30 minute rated telescopic intumescent letterbox system with a black frame and available in Satin Aluminum, Chrome Plated, Stainless Steel, Polished Silver or Polished Gold letter plate flaps. Cut out required on the commercial range is size is 274mm x 57mm. The systems are fitted with an intumescent liner around the telescopic sleeve section of the letterplate. In the event of a fire the intumescent liner expands to seal the letterbox aperture and retains the fire integrity of the door. Suitable and tested for use up to 1050mm from floor level and adjustable to suit door thicknesses
from 40mm – 65mm. Smoke Tested to BS 476 Part 31.1 with a fully sealed back plate and
