Description

The Astroflame telescopic letter box system range is specially designed to increase the safety and security of occupants against fire. The range includes models which are fire rated for 60 minutes and are particularly suitable for multiple occupancy residential buildings.

These fire rated letterbox systems are fitted with an intumescent liner around the telescopic sleeve section of the letterplate. In the event of a fire the intumescent liner expands to seal the letterbox aperture and retains the fire integrity of the door.

Cut out required on this size is 248mm x 42mm. Brushes are designed to go to the outside for maximum protection and draught proofing.

The overall size is 305mm x 66mm and comes as a 60 minute rated telescopic intumescent letterbox system with a black plastic frame and metal letter plate flaps available in these finishes:

Gold Anodised
Mirror Polished Stainless Steel
