Description THE ASTRO QUAD SEAL SYSTEM Intumescent Fire, smoke, acoustic & thermal seals for fire door assemblies Four Seals in One! The complete solution for fire, smoke, acoustic & thermal containment Quad Seal is an Astroflame intumescent (graphite based) fire seal combined with a Schlegel Aquamac smoke, acoustic & thermal seal contained within a PVC sleeve that is fitted into a rebate to either the fire door leaves or frame. In the event of a fire, the fire seal expands (intumesces) to many times its original volume and seal the gap around the door to provide a safe and effective barrier against the passage of fire, smoke and hot gases. Astroflame Quad Seal provides a permanent barrier to Fire, smoke, acoustic, and thermal applications. Astro Quad seal is the only product on the market to offer Four solutions in one seal, Fire & Smoke to meet Document B combined together with a low friction Acoustic & Thermal seal to satisfy Document E and Document M. All Astro Quad seals are supplied with a self adhesive backing tape as standard to facilitate quick and easy fitting.
